DONATION REQUESTS
The St. James Hotel is happy to provide support to charitable organizations that positively impact our community through in-kind donations. Due to the high volume of received requests, in-kind donations are limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, community organizations & individual benefits within a 60-mile radius of Red Wing, Minn.
REQUIREMENTS + GUIDELINES
All donation requests must be submitted through the online application at least 45 days prior to an event. Requests must be submitted on your organization’s official letterhead by uploading an event flier or letter of request in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format, with the following information included:
- Organization Name & Mailing Address
- Event Date & Description
- Contact Name, Phone Number & Email Address

All donation requests must be submitted through our online application system at least 45 days prior to an event. All communication will come through our online system. Emails, phone calls, faxes, or mailed submissions will not be accepted. Submitting a request, does not guarantee a donation.
timeline
Your organization will receive status notification via the email provided on your request form approximately four weeks prior to your event. All approved donations will be sent approximately four weeks prior to your event. Organizations are only eligible to receive one donation per calendar year.
event restrictions
Requests related to the following are ineligible to receive donations:
- Religious, fraternal, labor or political groups.
- Third-party fundraisers or employee incentive programs (walks, fundraising teams, etc.).
- Senior class parties, post-prom parties, or similar events.
- Sponsorships, operating expenses, and monetary donations.
